Attaching Documents to an Item Master

Documents in the Files can be attached to an item using a shortcut that allows users to access the document in the Files.

To attach documents to an Item Master:

1. From the Item Master page, click the Edit button in the row for the item to which you want to attach a document. The Item Master Details page opens.
2.Click the Documents tab.
3.Click the Select from Files button. The Files opens.
4.Navigate to the document you want to attach and click the Create a Shortcut button in the row for the document you want to attach. The document short cut displays on the Documents tab.

To remove a document attachment from an Item Master:

1. From the Item Master page, click the Edit button in the row for the item from which you want to remove a document. The Item Master Details page opens.
2.Click the Documents tab.
3.Click the Delete a Shortcut icon. The document short cut is removed.
