Creating Area Types Manually

Project Managers can create area types for a project manually through the application.

To create an area type manually:

1.From the Area Types List page, in the Import Area Types Found section, click the Add New Area Type button. The Area Type Details page opens.
2.Enter the name for the area type in the Area Type Name data field.
3.From the Project drop-down list, select the project to which the area type is to be added.
4.Click the Save Change button. The area type displays on the Area Types List page.
5.To record reference information about the area type for another system, enter the identifier in the Legacy area type id data field, the identifier for the project in the Legacy project id data field, and the identifier for the area in the Legacy Area code data field.
6.Click the Save Changes button. The area type is available.
