Editing Inspection Custom Fields

After an inspection custom field is set up for inspection templates, you can delete one or more, add additional custom fields, edit the values for a custom field, and rearrange the order in which the custom fields display on the inspection template.

1.From the Main Menu, click Setup and from the submenu, click Application. The Application Setup Directory page opens.
2.From the Inspections/Issues section, click Inspection Custom Fields. The list of standard inspection questions display.
3.Click the Edit button for the inspection custom field you want to edit. The View/Edit Inspection Custom Field page displays the question information defined.
4.Edit the label for the inspection custom field in the Label data field.
5.To add another response value, click the Add New button, enter a value in the Value data field, and click the Save button in the row for the response value.
6.To remove a response value, click the Delete button in the row for the response value you want to delete.
7.To change the default value, click the appropriate Default radio button or checkbox.
8.To reorder the display of the values, click and drag the Drag icon in the Drag column to move the value up or down.
9.Click the Save button to save all changes to the values.
10.To delete a question, click the Label data field to display the Save and Delete buttons, and click the Delete button. The inspection custom field is removed from inspection templates.
