Setting Up a Work Order (Deficiency Report) Cover Letter

Project Managers can customize the content of the standard, project-specific Work Order (Deficiency Report) cover letter. In addition to adding text, the application provides a set of tags that automatically add specific text to the cover letter as follows:

Prj. email – Email address set up for the project
Prj. contact – User set up as the project contact
Originator name – name of the user who creates the report
Prj. Phone – Phone number set up for the project contact
Prj. address – Street address set up for the project
Prj. fax – Fax number set up for the project
Contact Name – Contact set up for the project

To define the Work Order cover letter:

1.From the Project Details page, click the Work Order Cover Setup tab. The Work Order Cover Setup page opens.
2.To display the default cover letter information defined, click the Reset to default button. The default cover letter data displays.
3.Enter text in the appropriate Work Order Cover Setup area. The text entered displays on the preview.
4.Click the Work Order Cover Setup area in which you want to set up data defined with a tag, and click the Tag.
5.Click the Save Changes button to set up the customized cover letter.
