Setting Up Project Specific Issue Custom Fields

If application-wide issue custom fields are setup, they will be displayed under the Custom Fields tab.   Application-wide issue custom fields can only be edited under Application Settings.

Additional custom fields can be defined for issues created for the project.

To set up custom fields:

1.From the Project Details page, click the Custom Fields tab.  
2.Under Issue Custom Fields, select a module using the Module selector.    Any application-wide issue custom fields that have been defined will be displayed but cannot not be edited.
3.To add additional project specific custom fields, click the Add button. The Issue Custom Field Details page opens.
4.Enter a name for the custom field in the Label data field.
5.To specify that the field is required, click the Required checkbox.
6.From the Data type drop-down list, select the data format.
7.Enter the data value to display in the Value data field.
8.To add additional data values, click the Add New button and enter the data value to display in the Value data field in the new row that displays.
9.To delete a data values, click the Delete button in the row for the data value you want to delete.
10.Click the Default checkbox in the row for the data value to display as the default data value for selection for the custom field.
11.Click the Save Changes button to save the custom field.
