Creating Issues from Inspections or Commissioning
To create issues during an Inspection or Commissioning Step:
|1.||From the Inspections Details page for a Form Inspection, click the appropriate New Issue button at the bottom right hand corner of the page. The Issue Details page opens to allow you to enter information about the issue.|
Note: Multiple buttons can display to create an issue. The buttons that display correspond to the Issue Categories defined for the application.
|2.||On the Issue Details Window, fill in the required fields:|
a. Area - Area will be pre-populated with the area associated with the inspection. To assign the issue to a different area, click the link in the Area data field. The Select an Area dialog-box opens. Select the area to which the issue is assigned. The area is a required field and must be filled in.
b. Item - Item will be pre-populated with the item associated with the commissioning step. To assign the issue to a different item, client the link in the Item data field. The Select an Item dialog-box opens. Select the item to which the issue is assigned.
c. Responsible Party - To assign the issue to a sub-contractor, click the link in the Responsible Party data field. The Select Company dialog-box opens. Select the company to which the issue is assigned.
c, Description - This is a free-form text field that can be filled in with a detailed description of the issue.
d. Start-on / Finish-by - Date fields may be auto populated if the Issue Work flow option was selected when the Issue List Template was setup. If not, these fields can be filled in manually. Click the Calendar icon and select the appropriate dates
|3.||Custom fields can be filled by expanding the Additional Information section.|
|4.||Attach photos, drawings and other supporting documentation to the issue by expanding the Attachments section.|
